About Frutta Group

What does Frutta Group do?

Frutta Group is an international fresh produce trading, sourcing and commercial consulting company. We connect growers, exporters and packers with importers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors, manage commercial programs between them, and offer consulting on sourcing, market research, market entry, commercial representation and import/export.

Is Frutta Group a broker, a trader or a consultant?

All three roles are part of how we work. We can act as commercial intermediary, trade fruit as principal buying at origin and selling to the destination customer, or deliver a defined consulting project. The structure is agreed with each partner at the start.

I am a grower or exporter. How would we work together?

Depending on the program, we either buy your fruit or represent it as your commercial arm in selected markets. Before the season we agree the markets, specification, pricing basis (fixed price, minimum guarantee or consignment), Incoterms and payment terms. During the season we control the document flow and follow up payments and collections, so you always know where your fruit and your money are.

Which markets does Frutta Group work in?

We manage import and export programs for the United States and Canada, the European Union and the United Kingdom, the Middle East, India and Latin America (including Guatemala and Venezuela). We source from growers and exporters in Spain, Poland, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, South Africa, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Argentina.

Which products does Frutta Group handle?

We work by season and origin rather than a fixed portfolio. Selected categories include citrus (oranges, mandarins, lemons, grapefruit), berries (especially blueberries), table grapes, apples and stone fruit such as cherries, peaches, nectarines, plums and apricots.

Who does Frutta Group work with?

Importers and wholesalers, retailers and supermarket groups, growers, exporters and packers, distributors and foodservice companies, and food and produce companies that need specialised fresh produce expertise for a specific project.

Is Frutta Group a logistics company?

No. We are not a freight forwarder, producer or packhouse. We manage the commercial side of fresh produce trade — sourcing, terms, documentation flow, follow-up and payments — and work alongside logistics providers.

How much experience does Frutta Group have?

Our team brings more than 25 years of experience in the international fresh fruit trade, and more than 25 international companies rely on our sourcing and commercial expertise.

Where is Frutta Group based?

Frutta Group LLC is a United States company. We work with growers, exporters and buyers in multiple countries; we do not claim offices in the markets we serve.

How do I start working with Frutta Group?

Send an inquiry through our contact page with the product, origin, destination market and approximate volume. We review every inquiry and reply with whether and how we can help.

Does Frutta Group publish consulting prices?

No. Consulting is scoped to each project — a one-off research or sourcing project, a market-entry project, recurring advisory or commercial representation. Describe your project and we will propose a structure.

About our services

Which products can Frutta Group source?

Our work is driven by seasonality and origin rather than a fixed list. Categories we work with include citrus, berries, table grapes, apples and stone fruit such as cherries, peaches, nectarines and plums. For other products, tell us your requirement and we will say plainly whether we can help.

Is Frutta Group a broker or a trader?

Both models are possible. On some programs we act as a commercial intermediary between grower and customer; on others we buy the fruit and resell it. We agree the structure with each partner at the start so responsibilities are clear.

Do you offer exclusive representation?

In some cases, yes. Exclusivity is agreed per product and market when it makes sense for both sides.

Do you sell me a list of contacts?

No. We identify and qualify buyers for your specific offer and support the commercial conversation. We do not sell databases.

How is supplier sourcing different from International Sourcing?

Supplier sourcing is a scoped project with a defined deliverable. International Sourcing is an ongoing relationship in which we help manage supply across seasons.

Are you a customs broker or lawyer?

No. We advise on the commercial and operational structure of fresh produce trade. For customs filings or legal opinions we work alongside your customs broker and legal advisers.

How is consulting priced?

Pricing depends on scope. Projects can be quoted as a fixed fee, a retainer for recurring advisory, or tied to commercial results for representation. Tell us about the project and we will propose a structure.

What does a research report include?

It depends on the question, but typically: market overview, competing supply by origin and season, price indications, main buyers or channels, and our recommendations.

Which markets do you know best?

We manage programs for North America, the European Union and the United Kingdom, the Middle East, India and Latin America. We evaluate other markets case by case and say so when a question is outside our experience.

Is representation exclusive?

It can be. Exclusivity is agreed per product and market when it serves both sides.

Have a sourcing, trading or market question?

Tell us what you are looking for — product, origin, market and volume — and we will tell you plainly whether and how we can help.
