Cherry and stone fruit sourcing

Cherries from five origins in both hemispheres, plus peaches, nectarines, plums and apricots picked in their optimal window.

Ripe red cherries on the tree

Frutta Group’s roots are in cherries: the business grew out of cherry growing. That origin-side view still shapes how we work with stone fruit today.

Cherries are a short-season, high-value category where firmness, calibre and speed to market decide price. Turkey and Spain lead the northern season, Canada extends it into late summer, and Chile and Argentina supply the southern season around the northern winter holidays. Summer stone fruit completes the category.
